Hold onto your hats, travellers – Chaiiwala is on the move again as we officially touch down at Birmingham Airport.
We’re delighted to announce that you’ll soon be able to sip, snack and savour all your favourite flavours before take-off at one of the UK’s busiest airports..
This is our second airport landing in just four months, and we’re ready to spice up your pre-flight routine with the UK’s leading Indian street food café.
Chaii on the fly
With our brand-new spot in the departures area, Chaiiwala is here to make your airport experience deliciously different.
We’ve got 1,100 square feet of chai-fuelled fun with plenty of low-level seating for all you jet-setters. We are located with easy access to the departure gates and into full view of the flight info boards so you won’t miss a beat (or a bite!).
And if you’re in a hurry, our app’s click-and-collect service lets you grab your chaii on the fly so you can enjoy the Chaiiwala experience on the flight. Imagine taking a sip of Karak Chaii and biting into one of our chicken tikka wrap while enjoying some in-flight entertainment.
Sipping, Snacking, and So Much More
We will be open for those early birds to those flying late at night as we plan to operate from 4am to 10pm. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, we’ve got something for everyone. Craving something quick? Grab our coffee with a pastry. Want something for the plane? Grab our new box with some quick bites such as samosas and a wrap with a cup of Chaii.
Brewing Up New Partnerships
We’re once again teaming up with EG On The Move, who knows exactly how to keep the chaii flowing and the food sizzling. They’ve been our trusty co-pilots on this journey for a while and operate several Chaiiwala locations across the UK, including two Drive-Thrus.
Coming to an Airport Near You!
With over 114 stores globally (and counting!), Chaiiwala’s mission is clear: we want to bring our bold flavours to every travel hub we can.
Our next stop? Watch this space (no pun intended!!) Now we are at London Luton and BHX – we plan to expand our reach across the UK.
Birmingham Airport is scheduled to open at the end of October. So if you’re headed through Birmingham Airport around that time why not swing by and let us add a little spice to your trip.
